About Purchases Credit Cards

Many credit card providers offer 0% interest introductory periods on purchases, this helps them attract new customers. Free interest periods range between a 3 and 12 month periods. Credit cards that offer free interest periods on your purchases can come in handy as you can spread payments for your purchases over time as well as avoiding the high interest rates that many credit card providers charge.

We recommend that you check the standard APR rate of the credit card Before you sign up to it as once the free interest period is over you could be hit with a high interest rate. Many people who have a balance remaining on there card after their free interest period has expired, look into changing to a balance transfer card. These will normally offer a low interest introductory rate on your existing balances transferred from your previous card and can give you the opportunity to clear what your outstanding balance.
